Senior Presales Engineer

About the role

Smart Directions is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to join its Riyadh office. You will act as the technical bridge between sales and delivery, ensuring accurate quotations, cost estimates, and technical submittals for lighting and systems integration projects across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project quotations and detailed cost estimates.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
• Submit technical submittals in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to secure optimal solutions.
• Provide technical support during the tender stage and ensure timely, accurate submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lighting systems, quoting, and technical submittals.
• Strong ability to evaluate project scope, perform cost analysis, and select suitable vendors.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with DIALux.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Familiarity with Odoo (preferred).
