Senior Python Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to build and scale the backend systems behind our AI products. You will work directly with the research team in Amman, owning production‑grade services that power real‑time AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build Django (or FastAPI) services that handle real traffic.
• Model and optimise PostgreSQL schemas, including bilingual data handling.
• Build data pipelines that feed and retrain machine‑learning models.
• Integrate with third‑party systems such as ERP and payment gateways.
• Review code, mentor mid‑level engineers, and contribute to architecture decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Python experience.
• Strong Django or FastAPI background in production environments.
• Experience designing PostgreSQL schemas, not just querying them.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and operating on AWS or Azure.
• Proactive testing habits and good written English; Arabic is a plus.
