Senior React Developer

About the role

As a Senior React Developer at Aspire you will design and deliver high‑performance web applications for the financial services sector. You will work on mission‑critical projects where security, accessibility, and real‑time data visualization are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain modular, reusable React + TypeScript components for financial web applications.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs with backend engineers, ensuring optimal security and performance.
• Implement state management using Redux, Zustand, or React Context.
• Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Develop pixel‑perfect, responsive UIs following design systems (Figma) and WCAG/ARIA standards.
• Apply secure coding practices for authentication (OAuth2/OpenID Connect), token handling, and role‑based access control.
• Optimize performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and memoization.
• Review code, contribute to architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and container environments.

Required profile

• 6+ years of front‑end development experience, including 3+ years with React and TypeScript.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in financial services, digital banking, or fintech projects.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, and frontend security (XSS, CSRF).
• Familiarity with agile workflows and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
