Technical Support / Help Desk

About the role

Bytech - Jordan, a technology company based in Amman that provides IT solutions and services to local and regional clients, is looking for a motivated Technical Support / Help Desk candidate. The role provides basic technical support to employees, troubleshoots hardware and software issues and helps keep IT equipment running smoothly. Experience of 0-2 years is required; fresh graduates are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and update software and applications.
• Troubleshoot printer issues, including installation, configuration and connectivity problems.
• Provide basic hardware and software support for computers and laptops.
• Troubleshoot basic Windows operating system issues.
• Provide basic network support, including LAN, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
• Assist users with Microsoft Office and email issues.
• Respond to IT support requests and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Maintain IT equipment and update support records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Technology or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in technical support or help desk roles; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide effective technical support.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Software installation and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of printers, scanners and other IT peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge, including IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
