About the role

Elements is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its founding team as it moves from advanced beta to full production. This fully remote position offers deep ownership of core services, system architecture, and product direction while working directly with the founders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build frontend components with React and integrate them with backend APIs.
• Own major architecture components and ensure scalability as the platform grows.
• Drive the product from advanced beta to production‑ready status.
• Establish engineering best practices and mentor growing team members.

• Strong understanding of application architecture and system design.
• Proven track record building end‑to‑end production systems.
• Ability to balance high‑quality engineering with a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Ownership mindset with experience in zero‑to‑one product development.
