Senior Treasury Officer

About the role

The Senior Treasury Officer will support the Treasury team in managing the company's investment activities across bonds, stocks, fixed income products and other approved instruments. The role focuses on monitoring market opportunities, preparing investment analysis, tracking portfolio performance and ensuring compliance with internal policies and approval limits.

Key responsibilities

• Support investment management of bonds, stocks, fixed deposits and other financial instruments.
• Follow up on investment opportunities with banks, brokers and financial institutions.
• Prepare investment comparisons (return, risk, maturity, liquidity) and monitor portfolio performance.
• Track coupon payments, dividends, maturities and investment income.
• Review bond investment opportunities, analyze yield, maturity, credit rating, coupon rate and issuer risk; maintain schedule of maturities.
• Monitor stock market movements, prepare performance updates and support investment proposals.
• Prepare regular Treasury investment reports for management and summaries for ALCO or management meetings.
• Coordinate cash flow planning to ensure investment decisions align with daily liquidity needs.
• Ensure all investments are approved, maintain documentation and comply with internal policies, limits and authority matrix.
• Liaise with Finance, Cost Controlling, Compliance and external banks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in Treasury, investment, banking or related financial roles.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of bond and equity markets, investment risk and liquidity management.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and communicate findings to senior management.
