Senior WordPress Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our Amman office. The successful candidate will lead the development, maintenance, and optimisation of WordPress sites, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and technical SEO compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise WordPress websites for functionality, responsiveness, and performance.
• Build and customise sites using WordPress and Elementor Page Builder.
• Write and modify PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code as required.
• Manage themes, plugins, staging environments, deployments, hosting, and file management.
• Monitor and improve site performance, caching, loading speed, and Core Web Vitals.
• Implement technical SEO best practices and track search performance.
• Set up and manage analytics and tracking with GA4, GTM, and Google Search Console.
• Conduct SEO and site audits using Ahrefs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver technical solutions for website requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development or a related field (preferred).
• At least 4 years of professional web development experience, primarily with WordPress and PHP.
• Strong problem‑solving, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
