Service Engineer – Field Service for Laboratory & Medical Equipment

About the role

Beamed Trading is seeking a Service Engineer to join its on‑site team in Amman. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing laboratory, medical and healthcare equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure new equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on a range of devices.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnose technical issues using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Provide on‑site technical support and troubleshooting during field service visits.
• Document service activities and report outcomes to internal teams.
• Communicate service plans and results clearly with customers.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely parts and support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service processes and after‑sales support.

Required profile

• Residency in Amman, Jordan.
• 1–2 years of field experience with laboratory, medical or healthcare equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support abilities.
• Experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of technical equipment.
• Solid communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical engineering or related field.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and willingness to travel locally for service visits.
