Site Engineer - Tile Installation Projects

About the role

Diamond Tiles Decoration is a specialist company in tile installation and decorative finishes for residential and commercial projects, based in Amman, Jordan. It is looking for a full-time, on-site Site Engineer to oversee daily site operations so that tile and decorative works are carried out according to design, structural requirements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation teams and coordinate with civil and structural engineers
• Monitor progress against project schedules and maintain detailed site reports
• Conduct inspections and implement quality control procedures
• Enforce safety regulations and resolve technical issues during construction
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients and suppliers to align expectations

Required profile

• Civil engineering background or equivalent technical experience in construction or architectural finishes
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Experience managing construction activities in active project environments
• Clear, professional communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Required skills

• Quality control: inspecting work, ensuring compliance with specifications and enforcing safety standards
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles relevant to finishes, tile works and load-bearing considerations
• Beneficial: familiarity with construction drawings, basic project scheduling, site documentation tools and local building codes
