SOC Analyst Level 2 – Amman, Jordan

About the role

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst Level 2 will join a 24x7 security operations team in Amman. You will monitor security events, respond to incidents, and help improve the overall security posture of the organization and its clients across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the SIEM platform and investigate all related security incidents and events.
• Respond to, contain, and document security incidents, providing clear reports on handling and resolution.
• Conduct forensic analysis, data recovery, and support penetration testing activities.
• Perform daily vulnerability scanning, threat assessment, and proactive research on emerging threats.
• Configure, administer, and evaluate security tools and technologies, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Develop and recommend action plans to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and standard operating processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT/Security operations or a SOC role.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, CCNA R&S, Security+, CIHE, CEH, CPTE or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) and security concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
