Software Development Engineer (Entry-Level)

About the role

This is an entry-level Software Development Engineer position for fresh graduates or candidates with 0-1 year of experience. The role covers building responsive front-end screens, integrating them with back-end APIs, designing data access and reporting models, and taking part in code reviews, testing and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive front-end screens and integrate them with back-end APIs.
• Design and implement database queries, data-access components and reporting data models.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems and AI services through APIs and web services.
• Write unit tests, debug and fix defects found during QA/UAT.
• Take part in code reviews, source-control practices and CI/CD deployment activities.
• Apply secure coding standards, prepare technical documentation and support deployment and production stabilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, computer engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or entry level (0-1 year); graduation projects, internships, hackathons or personal projects are an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core or equivalent backend programming.
• REST APIs and web services.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• SQL and relational databases.
• Git (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Visual Studio / VS Code, SQL Server and SQL tools.
• Postman / Swagger, Jira / Confluence or equivalent.
• Desirable: exposure to enterprise integrations, Power BI, logging/monitoring, cloud deployment, Angular or React, CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
