Software Engineer – React & Node (Remote, Jordan)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Software Engineer to join ZRG’s early‑stage ZayOS team. The role is fully remote from Jordan with required overlap with US EST business hours. You will work closely with the founders on a live AI‑native restaurant operations platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship features for the ZayOS platform using React and Node.js.
• Diagnose and fix production bugs that affect live restaurant operators, including order flow, checkout, and account management.
• Collaborate with the founding team on architecture decisions as the platform scales from a few to dozens of operators.
• Own feature lifecycles end‑to‑end: build, test, deploy, and monitor.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on experience with React and Node.js in a production environment.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in an asynchronous, distributed team.
• Comfort with ambiguous specifications and a willingness to help shape them.
• Bonus: experience with SaaS products, payment or ordering systems, multi‑tenant platforms, or restaurant technology.

Required skills

• React
• Node.js
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Git (version control)

What we offer

• Compensation of $800‑$1,000 per month during a three‑month trial.
• Potential for increased pay, ownership, and a longer‑term role after the trial.
• Ground‑floor position at a startup with paying customers and clear growth targets.
• Remote work from Jordan with full‑time hours and US EST overlap.
