Solution Advisor – Mendix & Application Modernization

About the role

The Solution Advisor for Mendix & Application Modernization supports the Digital Solutions team by bridging technical expertise with business development. You will lead solution design, pre‑sales activities, technical proposals and proof‑of‑concept delivery to help acquire new customers across the GCC region (excluding UAE).

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to translate customer challenges into high‑level solution architectures and technology approaches.
• Conduct discovery sessions, workshops and technical discussions with prospects.
• Prepare technical proposals, statements of work, and respond to RFP/RFI inquiries.
• Build and deliver solution demos and proof‑of‑concept applications aligned with customer use cases.
• Create architecture diagrams, workflow models and technical documentation.
• Support delivery teams with effort estimation, resource planning and implementation guidance.
• Maintain reusable solution templates, demo environments and proposal assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in presales, solutions engineering or technical consulting.
• Hands‑on experience with the Mendix low‑code platform, including development, configuration and demo delivery.
• Strong understanding of application modernization, digital transformation and enterprise architecture.
• Proven ability to create technical proposals, SOW documents and architecture documentation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.

Required skills

• Mendix (Rapid or Advanced Developer certification preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with integration technologies and enterprise architecture concepts.
