Tax Technology Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Tax Technology Assistant Manager or Manager to lead end‑to‑end IT projects that transform tax and finance processes for multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver IT projects covering requirements gathering, design, build, testing and deployment.
• Develop, enhance and support automation tools, data integration, analytics platforms, dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Implement and integrate third‑party tax and finance applications for multinational clients.
• Own workstreams, manage delivery timelines, risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture, ensuring scalability, security and performance.
• Document technical designs, configuration standards and operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimisation and data quality enhancement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Tax Technology or related field.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects with minimal guidance.
• Strong interest in technology‑enabled business transformation, especially in tax functions.
• Excellent communication and business writing skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.

• Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
• Python for data science and analytics
• Microsoft technology stack (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, VBA, scripting)
• SQL Server database design and development
• ETL tools such as SSIS or similar
• Data analytics and visualisation tools, especially Power BI
