Technical Support & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Technical Support & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Amman. The role combines daily IT support with hands‑on experience in Windows‑based environments, virtualization and cloud platforms, providing a solid foundation in enterprise infrastructure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents remotely and onsite, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Support Microsoft environments including Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Assist in managing virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Perform system monitoring, patching, routine maintenance and backup‑recovery operations.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs and produce reports on system health and performance.
• Conduct regular infrastructure audits to verify adherence to standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure (including internships).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented and collaborative approach.
