Transportation Engineer

About the role

Dar, a member of the Sidara group, is seeking a Transportation Engineer to deliver independent design and planning contributions on multidisciplinary projects. You will apply your civil engineering knowledge to produce accurate documentation, support coordination with other disciplines, and ensure compliance with relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings, 3D models, and transport/traffic reports.
• Perform calculations, verify code compliance, and resolve interdisciplinary clashes.
• Prepare technical reports, design submittals, and attend client coordination meetings.
• Maintain quality of documentation, flag inconsistencies, and manage document revisions.
• Support cost and quantity estimation activities and respond to RFIs during construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Less than 5 years of experience on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Familiarity with regional standards and sustainable design principles (e.g., LEED, Estidama) is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Navisworks.
• Experience with traffic modelling software.
