UI/UX Senior/Assistant Manager - AI Products

About the role

Arabic.AI is looking for a UI/UX Senior/Assistant Manager in Amman to set the strategic direction of user experience and interface design across all digital platforms, including AI-powered solutions. The role leads a team of designers to deliver human-centered designs that improve usability and drive business value, and shapes the interaction layer of AI features so they feel seamless, intuitive and trustworthy.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall UI/UX vision and strategy for web, mobile and AI-driven applications, and lead the design of interfaces for AI features such as natural language processing tools, recommendation engines and intelligent automation.
• Build and evolve the company's design system for consistency, accessibility and scalability.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of UI/UX designers and researchers, oversee workload distribution and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design assets.
• Guide the end-to-end design process, from discovery and user flows to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, and work with data scientists and AI engineers to make complex AI models usable.
• Review interactive prototypes for usability and trust in AI outputs, such as explainability and confidence levels.
• Partner with engineering, product management and AI teams, and use customer research, behavioral analytics and usability testing to optimize AI-powered user journeys.
• Monitor design impact metrics, ensure compliance with accessibility, responsiveness and data privacy standards, and deliver monthly design and UX reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Prior experience designing for AI or data-driven platforms (chatbots, dashboards, recommendation systems) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic.
• Demonstrated experience in agile environments and a portfolio showing leadership in complex, scalable design systems, especially intelligent and automated interfaces.

Required skills

• Design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD and Sketch.
• User research tools and behavioral analytics platforms such as Hotjar, Maze, Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics.
