Warehouse Officer – Inventory Management

About the role

The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring accurate inventory control. This role guarantees that materials are received, stored, issued, and tracked in line with company procedures, supporting overall operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of inventory items according to approved procedures.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and quality requirements, reporting any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and document all stock transactions in the designated system.
• Monitor inventory levels, initiate replenishment requests, and prevent stock shortages.
• Ensure warehouse organization follows FIFO/FEFO principles and safety standards.
• Prepare and issue materials against approved requests while maintaining traceability.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and periodic reconciliations, investigating variances.
• Track expiry dates, damaged, obsolete, and slow‑moving stock, recommending corrective actions.
• Generate inventory and warehouse reports for management review.
• Support procurement and logistics with timely inventory information.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security, and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Required profile

• BSc in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English and Arabic.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory control.
• Familiarity with SAP for inventory management.
