Wholesale Manager

About the role

As a Wholesale Manager you will partner closely with the Sales Lead to drive and optimise the wholesale business across designated customers, areas and channels. You will use sell‑out data, market intelligence and performance analysis to shape commercial decisions and support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales strategies and targets to achieve volume commitments and distribution objectives.
• Analyse sales and distribution performance, providing actionable insights for timely management decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers to support volume growth, balanced stock levels and effective promotion programmes.
• Deliver accurate reports on market trends, competitor activity and promotion performance on a regular basis.
• Recruit, lead, coach and develop the sales team to ensure high‑performance results.
• Lead business planning, forecasting and performance reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support commercial initiatives and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in sales, trade marketing or wholesale management.
• Proven expertise in managing wholesalers, distributors and complex trade channels, including route‑to‑market, inventory, pricing and trade investment.
