WPC Formulation & R&D Specialist

About the role

Al Tamayouz Doors is hiring an experienced WPC Formulation & R&D Specialist to join its manufacturing team in Jordan. The role focuses on developing and optimizing PVC-based wood-plastic composite (WPC) formulations for interior doors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize PVC-based WPC formulations for interior doors
• Create cost-effective formulations while maintaining high product quality
• Optimize raw material consumption and production costs
• Improve mechanical strength, density, surface quality and dimensional stability
• Conduct laboratory tests and production trials
• Recommend suitable additives, stabilizers, fillers and processing aids
• Troubleshoot extrusion and formulation-related issues

Required profile

• Proven experience in PVC/WPC formulation and compound development
• Practical experience in WPC extrusion manufacturing
• Ability to develop competitive formulations and reduce manufacturing costs without compromising quality
• Preferred: candidates from India, Bangladesh, China or other countries with relevant WPC manufacturing experience
