Zone Supervisor – Housekeeping

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Zone Supervisor – Housekeeping to lead cleaning operations at the Queen Alia International Airport. The role involves overseeing multiple housekeeping teams, ensuring continuous high‑quality service in a fast‑paced airport environment.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise housekeeping teams, assign tasks and monitor execution within designated zones.
• Conduct regular inspection rounds to verify compliance with cleanliness and service quality standards.
• Monitor attendance, work schedules, productivity and adherence to operational procedures.
• Ensure 24/7 delivery of housekeeping services and respond promptly to operational needs and emergencies.
• Follow up on passenger and client feedback, implement corrective actions and close issues.
• Manage safe use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, machinery and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Track stock levels, tools and equipment, reporting shortages or damages.
• Train, coach and develop employees while enforcing safety and work procedures.
• Utilise the MIMS system to assign tasks, monitor completion and measure performance.
• Prepare attendance records, inspection checklists and operational reports.
• Report incidents, injuries, near‑misses and safety violations immediately.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping, hospitality or facilities management.
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in airports, hotels, shopping malls or other continuously operating facilities.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Good communication, customer service and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic English language skills and proficiency with email and operational applications.
• Willingness to work shifts in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
