3D Concrete Printing Facility Lead

About the role

Lead the safe and efficient day‑to‑day operation of a 3D concrete printing facility, ensuring all equipment, materials and personnel are ready for production.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all production activities including setup, calibration, batching, pumping, printing, curing, testing, cleaning and shutdown.
• Coordinate commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and technical support for the 3D printer, mixers, pumps, hoses, nozzles and control systems.
• Supervise multidisciplinary technical staff, allocate work, monitor performance and liaise with suppliers, laboratories, consultants and specialist partners.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, operating instructions, checklists, competency matrices, training records and knowledge‑transfer programs for local operators and technicians.
• Monitor operational performance, downtime, failures, rework, material wastage and recurring technical issues, supporting root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Mechatronics, Industrial/Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, Construction Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical operations, manufacturing, construction, automated production or R&D environments.
• Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary technical teams and coordinating maintenance and external technical support.
• Strong knowledge of HSE, QA/QC, technical documentation, reporting, material traceability and operational control requirements.
• Excellent planning, organization, communication skills and fluency in English.

Required skills

• Operation and troubleshooting of 3D concrete printers and related automated production equipment.
• Experience with pumps, mixers, hoses, nozzles and concrete/mortar batching systems.
• Development and implementation of SOPs, checklists and training programs.
• Root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
