Account Handler

About the role

The Account Handler will support General/Motor insurance clients with day‑to‑day queries, endorsements and account management, ensuring smooth communication between clients and the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients through issuance and endorsement processes and handle end‑to‑end transactions.
• Review policy documents, explain benefits, and coordinate with insurers to fulfill client requests.
• Visit clients and insurance companies regularly, verify documents, and maintain accurate records.
• Update endorsement trackers, file documents and invoices, and coordinate invoicing and payments with Finance.
• Obtain and compare general insurance quotations, prepare reports and presentations, and track renewals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance or Actuarial Science.
• Minimum 2 years experience in General/Motor insurance within an insurance company or brokerage.
• Strong customer service, communication, project management and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with insurer portals (a plus).
