Accountant for Grocery Store Operations

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support the launch and growth of our innovative grocery store concept, tmart, delivering 30‑minute grocery orders at hypermarket prices.
Key responsibilities
- Manage invoicing, supplier account statements, and reconciliation, handling discrepancies and compliance matters such as rebates and credit notes.
- Create and reconcile supplier accounts, perform product costing, and process payment requests accurately.
- Investigate and resolve claims with local suppliers and ensure regular inventory counts and valuations.
- Develop inventory performance reports, calculate inventory ageing, and prepare journal vouchers for prepaid, accruals, and OPEX.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Detail‑oriented, structured, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, capable of influencing multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
