Activities/Life Enrichment Assistant – Day Shift

About the role

The Activities/Life Enrichment Assistant supports residents at Sagewood at Daybreak by delivering engaging wellness classes, coordinating events, and helping with transportation when needed. This full‑time, day‑shift position works Monday‑Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and monitor resident attendance and participation in all wellness programs.
• Teach and facilitate group and individual wellness activities.
• Implement a variety of exercise and enrichment programs tailored to seniors.
• Collaborate with volunteers and community groups to expand program offerings.
• Assist in setting up wellness events and community activities.
• Coordinate transportation scheduling for residents as required.

Required profile

• High school graduate.
• 1–2 years experience in senior wellness or activity programming.
• Positive attitude, reliable team player.
• First Aid certification.

Required skills

• Ability to lead exercise classes and operate basic exercise equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
