About the role
The Graduate Institute at the School for International Training (SIT) seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach in‑person at its Amman location. This part‑time role supports a range of master’s courses in humanitarian assistance, crisis management, and related fields.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality instruction aligned with course objectives and learning outcomes.
- Create an inclusive, experiential learning environment that supports student success.
- Maintain accurate records, submit grades promptly, and uphold academic and conduct policies.
Required profile
- Doctoral degree in a discipline relevant to the offered courses.
- Professional experience related to the course topics; graduate teaching experience is desirable.
- Background in inclusive teaching, global education, and experiential learning.
Required skills
- Familiarity with the Canvas learning management system (preferred).
