Adobe DXP Architect

About the role

We are seeking a highly technical Adobe DXP Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise digital experience platforms for large, complex organisations. This hands‑on, client‑facing role requires you to work closely with business and technology stakeholders, shape target architectures across the Adobe Experience Cloud, and guide delivery teams to production‑ready, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to capture business objectives, current‑state landscapes and customer experience requirements.
• Define end‑to‑end target architectures for Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets, Forms) and Adobe Experience Platform (RT‑CDP, Journey Optimizer, Target, Analytics/CJA).
• Design integrations with enterprise systems such as CRM, commerce, ERP, CDPs, identity providers and data warehouses using APIs, event‑driven patterns and middleware.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, including code reviews, CI/CD via Cloud Manager and environment strategy.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, accessibility and data‑privacy requirements, including regional data residency.

Required profile

• 10+ years in digital or enterprise technology, with at least 6 years architecting on the Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale Adobe implementations in a consulting or systems‑integration environment.
• Strong communication skills to convey architecture decisions to senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently in a contract capacity and quickly become productive within client teams.

Required skills

• Deep hands‑on expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (Cloud Service, Sling/OSGi, Dispatcher, components, templates, headless delivery via GraphQL and Content Fragments).
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (RT‑CDP, Journey Optimizer, Target, Analytics/CJA) and data modelling (XDM schemas, identity resolution).
• Integration experience using REST APIs, Adobe I/O/App Builder and middleware on Azure, AWS or GCP.
• CI/CD pipeline design with Cloud Manager, environment strategy and code‑review processes.
• Understanding of performance, security, accessibility and data‑privacy best practices.
