About the role

Join the Deals Technology team as an AI Engineer Associate, where you will design and deliver cutting‑edge AI solutions for complex transactions. You will work with large datasets, adapt to evolving business needs, and build robust, production‑ready models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop novel AI models for specialized use cases, leveraging state‑of‑the‑art embedding techniques and large language model capabilities.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring compatibility with current infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design backend services and APIs that meet production standards and future scalability.
• Work alongside data scientists to preprocess, analyze, and enrich data for model training.
• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve AI systems in production.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Deploy and manage AI models using OCI services where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one of Java or C++.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms for AI deployment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with Agentic Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Knowledge of vector databases (FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone, Qdrant) and SaaS vector‑DB solutions.
• Experience with embedding models such as text‑embedding‑3‑large or all‑mpnet‑base‑v2.
• Proficiency with open‑source AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, CrewAI, Autogen, etc.).
• Ability to design complex prompt pipelines and multi‑agent systems.
• Optional: Experience deploying models on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
