Application Developer

About the role

RS2 is seeking an Application Developer to join its Technical Unit, reporting to the Senior Software Development Manager. The role involves designing, building and maintaining high‑quality software solutions for Tier 1 financial institutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers and cross‑functional teams to translate client requirements into robust applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and maintenance.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging web technologies and programming language trends.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, delivering on time and meeting quality standards.
• Work both independently and as part of diverse, multicultural teams, adapting quickly to changing priorities.

Required profile

• Degree in ICT or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills in English.
• Commitment to high coding standards and thorough unit testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot browser‑specific issues and work within Agile development practices.

Required skills

• Git, Maven, Jenkins, XML, JSON, jQuery.
• Microservices architecture implementation.
• Java, Spring, RESTful web services.
• JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, Vue.js (or similar framework).
• User Experience (UX) analysis and design principles.
• Oracle database management.
• Agile development methodologies and unit testing.
