Architect II

About the role

Egis is seeking an Architect II to join its Middle East team. The role involves developing project designs from early concept through technical development to construction documentation, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce design outputs from early‑stage concepts to construction documents.
• Maintain design quality standards and meet project deadlines.
• Support Senior Architect and Design Manager, providing technical assistance to the architecture team.
• Participate in the project execution plan and prepare the list of deliverables.
• Prepare concept designs, project models, graphical presentations, drawings, and reports.
• Collaborate on complex design challenges and ensure technical feasibility.
• Coordinate design activities with civil, structural, MEP, interior design, landscape, vertical transportation and other specialist consultants.
• Develop BIM models, produce design documents, and uphold BIM quality in line with the BIM Execution Plan.
• Review design codes, select building materials and systems, and ensure efficient use of project man‑hours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

Required skills

• Building Information Modeling (BIM) proficiency.
• Project modeling and design documentation.
• Multidisciplinary coordination (civil, structural, MEP, interior, landscape, vertical transportation).
• Design code review and building materials/systems selection.
