About the role
The Assets Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an accurate and up‑to‑date register of all bank assets. This role ensures proper tracking, tagging, verification and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Track, record, tag and update asset movements, conditions and inventory.
- Maintain an accurate asset register with regular verification and reconciliation.
- Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Coordinate asset‑related activities with internal teams and external service providers.
- Prepare and maintain reports, records and documentation of asset transactions, utilization and status.
- Assist with asset tagging, labeling and physical verification processes.
- Support audits and inspections by providing asset‑related information.
- Receive, inspect and record new assets in the asset register system.
- Ensure proper storage, transportation and handling of assets, and manage distribution and collection across the bank.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in assets management or a related field.
- Additional training or certification in assets or facilities management is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in assets management, preferably within the banking sector.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and record‑keeping abilities.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, reliability and problem‑solving orientation.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CAFM systems.
- Familiarity with asset management systems (preferred).
