Banquet Waiter

About the role

We are looking for a Banquet Waiter to join our Guest Service team at our luxury property in Amman. You will help create memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering attentive, high-quality service throughout banquets and events.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange banquet tables, chairs and linens according to event specifications.
• Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, replenish supplies and ensure workstations are tidy.
• Handle menu items, verify orders and assist guests with menu questions.
• Move, lift and carry items up to 25 lb unaided (up to 50 lb with assistance) and navigate varied floor surfaces safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of related food-and-beverage experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks safely.
