Book Finisher – Educational Content Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Book Finisher to join our on‑site team. The role is ideal for an English‑speaking educator who wants to transition from classroom teaching to shaping high‑quality educational materials.

Key responsibilities

• Review educational content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and age‑appropriate tone.
• Verify grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting meet quality standards.
• Ensure consistent language, terminology, and style across units and entire book series.
• Maintain overall quality, coherence, and progression within and between books.
• Provide clear editorial feedback to authors, editors, designers, illustrators, and management.
• Review illustrations and visual elements for instructional relevance and developmental appropriateness.
• Collaborate closely with writers, editors, designers, and project managers on‑site.
• Confirm all feedback is implemented and content is ready for print.
• Identify potential issues in instructional effectiveness, learning progression, or standards alignment.
• Ensure all activities align with educational standards, learning objectives, and best practices.

Required profile

• Fluent English speaker (written and spoken).
• Teaching experience in a classroom setting.
• Experience reviewing, refining, and finalizing educational content for publication.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent language accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Understanding of educational standards and learning progression across grade levels.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
