Champions Tavern-Bar and Lounge Manager

About the role

The Champions Tavern-Bar and Lounge is seeking an experienced manager to lead daily operations of its restaurant, bar, and lounge areas. This full‑time role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance and maintaining high sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all day‑to‑day restaurant, bar, and room‑service operations.
• Lead, coach, and schedule staff to ensure optimal service levels during peak periods.
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards across all service areas.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal liquor laws and monitor responsible alcohol service.
• Collaborate on menu planning, cost control, and financial reporting to meet budgetary goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction and employee engagement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least four years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a two‑year degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business Administration, etc., with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Proven leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and a reputation for integrity.
• Ability to work hands‑on in the absence of staff and to resolve operational issues quickly.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Understanding of local liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.
