Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Leader

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the company’s finance function, shaping financial strategy, ensuring stability, and supporting growth. Reporting to the CEO and Board, the CFO drives financial planning, risk management and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for the Board, CEO and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage market, credit and operational financial risks.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working‑capital optimization.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures and financing options.
• Establish robust internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors and investors.
• Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and insights.
• Oversee implementation and management of financial systems and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with legal, tax and corporate‑governance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CA or CMA).
• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 12–15+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Minimum 8–10 years in senior financial leadership roles.
