Civil 3D & CAD Technician – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Egis is seeking a Civil 3D & CAD Technician to support the design and drafting of civil infrastructure projects across the Middle East. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to produce accurate 3D models, design layouts, and construction drawings for roads, utilities, storm‑water systems, and land development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 3D models and design drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D for roads, water systems, storm‑water drainage, and land development.
• Develop construction plans, sections, and details covering grading, earthworks, and utility layouts.
• Assist engineers in creating preliminary and detailed design layouts for various infrastructure projects.
• Perform clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts between infrastructure elements early in the design process.
• Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local and national standards before submission.
• Update drawings according to design reviews and engineer comments, ensuring adherence to organizational CAD standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Design and Drafting or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience using Autodesk Civil 3D for civil infrastructure design.
• Ability to work collaboratively with civil engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality technical documentation.
