Consultant – Knowledge Management & Coordination for VAC (Remote)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an experienced individual consultant to lead global knowledge management for Violence Against Children (VAC) and support the coordination of the Second Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children. The consultancy will be based in Amman but performed remotely for 15 months.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global knowledge management strategy for VAC and child protection.
• Document national‑level impact and synthesize evidence to inform global advocacy.
• Support preparation, logistics and coordination of the Second Global Ministerial Conference on VAC in Manila.
• Facilitate collaboration among UNICEF units, partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children.
• Produce briefing notes, reports and knowledge products for senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in social sciences, public health, international development or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in knowledge management, child protection or violence‑prevention programmes.
• Demonstrated experience working in international or multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with ability to translate complex data into clear messages.
