Courier – Delivery & Pickup Specialist

About the role

The Courier is responsible for sorting, delivering and picking up inbound and outbound shipments within the designated service area, ensuring high‑quality service for DHL customers.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all deliveries and pickups on schedule, adhering to DHL standards.
• Scan shipments and fulfil system requirements, ensuring accurate data download.
• Prepare and verify all paperwork for pickups and deliveries before freight is weighed.
• Maintain security of freight, facilities and personnel, and suggest process improvements.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams and external customers, promoting DHL’s image.
• Promote and sell value‑added services such as TDD, Import Express and insurance.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet pickup and delivery commitments.
• Keep the vehicle clean and drive safely, complying with traffic regulations.
• Follow ISO procedures, company policies, dress code and housekeeping guidelines.
