Credit Officer

About the role

As a Credit Officer at Aramex, you will be part of the credit team responsible for ensuring timely customer payments and managing the collection process. You will work closely with sales and finance colleagues to resolve payment issues, handle overdue accounts and support the overall credit management function.

Key responsibilities

• Track customer accounts for overdue payments, update payment statuses and flag accounts that require follow‑up.
• Support the credit team by initiating and following up on basic collection efforts for overdue accounts.
• Handle routine client inquiries related to invoices, credit terms, payment schedules and account status, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial and credit data in the system and generate basic reports to aid credit management.
• Assist in reviewing and preparing credit applications, verifying customer details and ensuring proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Effective negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good knowledge of credit and accounts‑receivable terminology.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
