Cybersecurity Systems Administrator

About the role

Join Jordan Kuwait Bank as a Cybersecurity Systems Administrator and play a pivotal role in strengthening the bank's digital resilience. You will manage and optimize the Splunk Enterprise environment and support the Security Operations Center (SOC) to enhance threat detection and response.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Splunk Enterprise (on‑premises) and related cybersecurity systems.
• Develop, enhance, and fine‑tune security use cases, dashboards, alerts, and reports for improved threat visibility.
• Manage log ingestion, parsing, indexing, and integrations across security platforms.
• Support SOC operations by improving detection capabilities, incident response, and security monitoring.
• Ensure availability, scalability, and performance of cybersecurity systems and platforms.
• Drive automation of searches, reports, and operational workflows to increase efficiency.
• Troubleshoot system performance, configuration, and integration issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity systems administration with hands‑on Splunk experience.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms and security operations best practices.
• Solid understanding of monitoring, detection, and incident response processes.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and ownership skills.
