Data Analyst – GIS & Fleet Performance

About the role

EFS Facilities Services is seeking a detail‑oriented GIS & Operations Data Analyst to turn complex GIS, fleet, route and operational data into actionable insights. The role supports strategic and day‑to‑day decision‑making across large‑scale service operations, improving efficiency and resource utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze GIS, fleet, route and operational performance data to inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and scorecards using Power BI, Excel and other BI tools.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct route‑optimization and fleet‑utilization analyses to reduce costs.
• Support operational planning through GIS mapping, spatial analysis and location‑based insights.
• Collect, validate, cleanse and maintain data across multiple operational systems.
• Prepare regular management reports, operational summaries and performance presentations.
• Collaborate with operations, fleet, planning and project teams to capture reporting requirements.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to increase efficiency.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on operational issues and recommend data‑driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with data‑governance and reporting standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, GIS analysis, fleet analytics or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of GIS platforms, spatial analysis techniques and location‑intelligence applications.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and data‑visualisation tools.
• Experience analysing fleet performance, route efficiency and operational KPIs.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and database systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
