Data Engineering Lead (BI)

About the role

BlackStone eIT is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to head a talented team of data professionals. You will drive the design, development, and enhancement of our data infrastructure, ensuring it supports strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the data engineering team, fostering professional growth.
• Design and implement scalable data solutions that meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize data initiatives.
• Oversee development and maintenance of data pipelines, guaranteeing data quality and accessibility.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance policies.
• Monitor and optimize data performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging data engineering methodologies.
• Communicate data strategy and project updates clearly to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of data engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, project management, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
