Deputy Team Leader – Jordan Growth and Prosperity Programme

About the role

Palladium is seeking a Deputy Team Leader for the Jordan Growth and Prosperity (JGAP) programme, funded by the UK FCDO. The role provides technical leadership for Market Systems Development (MSD) interventions and ensures they align with macro‑economic reform objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of MSD interventions across priority sectors.
• Ensure technical quality, relevance, and coherence across all workstreams.
• Translate programme strategy into effective delivery plans.
• Support the Team Leader in overall programme management.
• Take primary responsibility for day‑to‑day delivery execution and technical quality assurance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in economic development or private‑sector development programmes.
• Strong background in market systems development and macro‑economic reform.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
