DevOps Engineer – Cloud & AI Platforms

About the role

LOOP is looking for a DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability of its AI platforms serving government and enterprise clients. You will work on cloud environments, automation, and compliance for public‑sector projects in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Bicep or Terraform across dev, staging, and production.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for applications, models, and databases.
• Containerize workloads and orchestrate them with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS, handling scaling, rollouts, and resource limits.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards; define SLAs/SLOs and reduce incident response times.
• Manage secrets, access control, and configuration using Key Vault, RBAC, and managed identities.
• Enforce data residency, regional deployment constraints, and produce audit‑ready compliance evidence.
• Support deployments to client‑controlled, on‑premise, or air‑gapped environments.
• Handle database operations, backups, restores, migrations, and high‑availability setups.
• Provision GPU resources, deploy AI/LLM models, manage vector databases, and control costs.
• Harden systems, support penetration testing, and document architecture and runbooks for client review.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or cloud engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure services (AKS, App Service, Storage, Networking, Key Vault, Monitor); AWS or GCP experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM).
• Solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
