Editorial Operations Manager

About the role

Altibbi is seeking an Editorial Operations Manager to lead and scale the production of Arabic medical content. The role focuses on building and maintaining efficient editorial systems rather than writing individual articles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the editorial calendar, balancing new content, updates, and SEO priorities.
• Translate SEO and business goals into detailed content briefs for writers and editors.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including writers, medical reviewers, SEO specialists, and publishing staff.
• Enhance article quality, structure, readability, internal linking, and adherence to publishing standards.
• Develop and maintain editorial guidelines, templates, and quality‑assurance checklists.
• Monitor content performance by topic, cluster, and type, and identify items needing refresh, merge, expansion, or de‑prioritisation.
• Ensure medical content complies with review standards and is published responsibly.
• Accelerate workflow speed while preserving quality and document editorial decisions and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in editorial, content operations, or managing editor roles.
• Strong Arabic editorial judgment and ability to manage writers, editors, or external contributors.
• Practical understanding of SEO, content briefs, search intent, internal linking, and content refresh cycles.
• Proven project‑management discipline and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with solid documentation habits.
• Experience with health, medical, wellness, or regulated content is a strong plus.
