Emerging Risk Analyst

About the role

Join the Risk team in Amman to help shape the organisation’s understanding of future risks. The Emerging Risk Analyst will monitor trends, analyse data from diverse sources and turn information into actionable insights that support decision‑making across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor internal and external data sources to identify new and emerging risks.
• Analyse trends, horizon‑scanning reports and open‑source intelligence for potential organisational impact.
• Produce quarterly emerging risk reports with recommendations on risk prioritisation and response.
• Conduct an annual refresh of the emerging risk landscape, suggesting additions, removals and updated responses.
• Summarise complex information clearly for stakeholders across business units.
• Collaborate with colleagues in intelligence, risk and reporting to strengthen risk insights.

Required profile

• Degree in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Proven experience in risk analysis, intelligence analysis, business analysis or a similar analytical role.
• Strong research, analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet quarterly and annual reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with emerging risk monitoring tools, horizon‑scanning platforms or intelligence databases.
