Engineering & Maintenance Compliance Monitoring Engineer

About the role

The Engineering & Maintenance Compliance Monitoring Engineer ensures that all aviation maintenance activities meet regulatory and internal standards. This role combines incident investigation, audit execution, and continuous improvement of technical procedures to uphold safety and quality across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate reported incidents and deliver timely conclusions.
• Transcribe audit checklists based on applicable regulatory standards and internal procedures.
• Detect quality shortfalls before they develop into deficiencies.
• Plan, conduct, and execute compliance monitoring audits, communicating results to relevant parties.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and recommend appropriate controls or actions.
• Follow up on the effectiveness of preventive measures and safety controls.
• Develop procedures, instructions, and technical bulletins.
• Monitor the adequacy and suitability of documented procedures.
• Liaise with competent authorities and customer airlines on engineering and maintenance matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Part 145, Part 66 and Part M regulations.
• Familiarity with aircraft maintenance, planning and operating manuals (AMM, IPC, MPD, MEL, etc.).
• Technical documentation and authoring expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Statistical data analysis capabilities.
