English Language Instructor – Multiple Locations in Jordan

About the role

Amideast is seeking experienced English Language Instructors to deliver high‑quality English courses across several governorates in Jordan. Instructors will work directly with adult learners, using internationally recognized ELT methodologies to improve reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver English language instruction based on the approved ELT curriculum (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
• Prepare and execute lesson plans tailored to student needs, proficiency levels, and course goals.
• Assign, evaluate, and provide feedback on homework, quizzes, and assessments.
• Assess students through formative and summative methods and track attendance and performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with program standards.
• Provide academic counseling, remedial support, and feedback to students needing additional instruction.
• Participate in instructor meetings, professional development sessions, and required reporting.
• Design and adapt supplementary instructional materials as needed.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in English with strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, ESL/EFL, Linguistics, English, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering English language instruction to adult learners across CEFR levels A1–C2.
• TESL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent internationally recognized teaching certification, or at least 10 years of documented EFL teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to plan lessons, manage classrooms, and assess adult learners at varying proficiency levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
