Executive Housekeeper Assistant

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper Assistant supports the daily shift operations of housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry services at a hotel in Aqaba. The role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces are clean, well‑maintained, and meet the property’s quality standards while helping to control operating costs.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate guest‑room status to the Front Desk promptly and coordinate with Engineering for maintenance needs.
• Supervise the general cleaning schedule and assign work based on room turnover lists.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, guestroom amenities, and uniforms; assist with ordering.
• Conduct inspections of guestrooms and public spaces, report deficiencies, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support the department’s budget by monitoring controllable expenses and assisting with financial reports.
• Handle guest complaints, promote excellent service, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Participate in HR activities such as staffing, accident investigations, and disciplinary documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
• Basic understanding of budgeting, inventory control, and guest‑service standards.
