Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads daily housekeeping, recreation/health club and laundry operations for a Sheraton hotel in Amman. This role ensures guest rooms, public areas and employee spaces are clean, well‑maintained, and meet the brand’s quality standards while supporting guest satisfaction and budget goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage housekeeping operations, coordinate room status with the Front Desk, and work with Engineering on maintenance needs.
• Supervise the general cleaning schedule, assign work based on room turnover, and maintain inventory of supplies and uniforms.
• Control departmental expenses, monitor budgets and payroll reports, and achieve cost‑saving targets.
• Handle guest complaints, drive service improvements, and empower staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Oversee HR activities such as staffing, training, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and recruitment for the housekeeping team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead a team, manage budgets, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest service in a hotel environment.
